Professional Energy Purchasing Expand their Energy Management Division

Professional Energy Purchasing (PEP) has expanded its team to support growth in its energy management division.

Giorgio Kasic has been appointed as Project Support Co-ordinator to help facilitate the smooth operation of energy efficiency contracts, and to assist with new business tenders.

Giorgio comments “This role is a great opportunity to learn a new sector that builds on my work experience so far and my Business and Management degree.
One of the biggest draws of the job is that it is client-facing which is the opposite of my last role in human resources. It’s also numerically based which is a particular strength of mine and one that will add value to the team.”

Energy management projects have grown significantly over the last two years since MD, Linda Spencer set up the division to complement the company’s procurement service.

This has been driven by changes in government legislation to lower carbon emissions, and clients looking for ways to reduce energy and costs. The business has also won several government-funded tenders to help reduce carbon emissions from businesses across the region.

Linda Spencer, MD comments “Giorgio is a welcome addition to the team who will take over much of the energy management administration including report writing and client liaison. That will allow the energy managers to able to spend more time out on-site completing energy audits and project managing any sustainable implementation plans for our clients.
Giorgio brings a good work ethic and relevant business degree which made him an ideal fit for this position, and I wish him a long and happy career with us.”

PEP provide a holistic energy management service to businesses ranging from buying gas, electricity, and water, to providing energy efficiency audits and Net Zero planning.
