Sheffield log saw blade specialist Microblade have recently renewed their contract with us following several years of great service from our team.
As a manufacturer, their energy costs are a substantial part of their business overheads so managing it efficiently is crucial to them.
We were initially asked to review their energy consumption and existing contracts, then purchase their energy for them at the best market rates.
As part of our standard service, we also monitored and advised them on any spikes in their weekly usage through tailored reports generated by their half-hourly electricity meter. This meant they could quickly investigate and adjust any production processes to reduce any electricity waste in the factory.
