Supporting Precision Proco from Energy Procurement to ESOS Compliance

Precision Proco was one of our first clients to move to flexible energy procurement, giving them the opportunity to take advantage of live, market-driven rates rather than committing to a traditional fixed-price contract. Alongside this, our energy specialists have helped the business secure Climate Change Levy (CCL) relief, supporting them to manage energy costs and improve overall energy efficiency.
Following a company merger, Precision Proco’s employee numbers meant the business fell within the scope of ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme). With significant penalties for non-compliance, they needed to act quickly to understand their obligations and complete the required assessments.
Our Approach
PEP carried out an ESOS audit across Precision Proco’s UK sites, reviewing energy use across buildings, industrial processes and transport. We managed the process from data collection through to assessment and reporting, identifying practical and cost-effective opportunities to reduce energy consumption, costs and carbon emissions.
With the assessment completed, Precision Proco achieved ESOS compliance whilst gaining a clearer understanding of where energy savings could be achieved.
Cristiana Loachim, Head of Compliance, Precision Proco commented
“PEP guided us through the entire ESOS process, from data collection to final reporting. Their team was professional, responsive, and knowledgeable, making compliance straightforward.
The comprehensive audits identified realistic energy-saving opportunities, and the final submission was completed within the specified time frames. We’re now fully compliant and better informed.”
